  • Monitor equipment trends and identify failure patterns using diagnostic tools and CMMS data.

  • Ensure documentation, records, and PM tasks meet company and regulatory standards.

Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all electrical work meets the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, OSHA, and facility safety requirements.

  • Perform electrical safety audits and recommend hazard mitigation improvements.

  • Verify that maintenance procedures align with best practices and regulatory expectations.

  • Participate in safety committees and support plant-wide safety initiatives.

Leadership, Training & Collaboration

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical direction to journeymen, apprentices, and maintenance staff.

  • Assist with training programs for electrical safety, equipment operation, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and management to plan and execute maintenance activities.

  • Lead or support continuous improvement teams, downtime-reduction projects, and equipment performance initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • Valid Master Electrician License (state-issued).

  • Minimum 5–10 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

  • Expert-level knowledge of NEC, electrical theory, industrial power systems, and automation.

  • Strong experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs, VFDs, and control systems.

  • Proven ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering documents.

  • Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience.

Preferred

  • Experience with advanced automation, robotics, instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols.

  • Proficiency with CMMS software for scheduling and documenting maintenance activities.

  • Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and working in elevated or confined spaces.

  • Ability to work in hot, cold, or noisy industrial environments.

  • Availability for overtime, shift work, and on-call responsibilities as required.

Work Environment

  • Industrial or manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, electrical equipment, moving parts, and typical industrial hazards.
